Coatlicue Statue Pendant | White Bronze & Bronze
Creation and destruction have never been opposites. One gives way to the other, and from what ends, something new begins.
The House Napoles Coatlicue Statue Pendant draws inspiration from Coatlicue, the powerful mother goddess of the Aztec world, associated with the earth and the relentless cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
Reimagined as a wearable relic, the piece is built around an imposing sculptural figure surrounded by serpents, skulls, ancient forms, and deeply carved details. The weathered metal finish settles into every recess, giving the statue the character of something unearthed as well as a custom made relic.
But this piece was never meant to disappear into a jewelry box when it leaves your neck.
Each Coatlicue includes a dedicated sculptural stand, transforming the pendant into a freestanding artifact for display. Worn, it becomes a substantial statement piece. Removed from its chain and returned to its pedestal, it becomes a small piece of sculpture in its own right.
Wear the artifact. Return it to the altar.
This is intentionally a large, heavy pendant. It was designed with the weight and presence of a small artifact rather than the restraint of conventional jewelry.
Created for those who find beauty not only in life, but in the ancient cycle that creates it, destroys it, and begins again.
